Moving to Haines during the height of the 2020 pandemic, I watched three economic pillars (tourism, construction, and fishing) become hamstrung by unrelated circumstances. Furthermore, after the December 2020 weather event and the tragic loss of a young leader in the business community, I was compelled to step into a supporting role for the Haines Business community. As the Executive Director, I draw from a master's degree in business administration, my experience in leadership and beliefs coaching, and a passion for entrepreneurship. Our staff and I gladly work toward our mission to promote economic growth and advocate for business.
