NETWORKING
The Chamber hosts events throughout the year that provide opportunities for business networking. Monthly luncheons, after business hours/summer mixers, educational programs, committee meetings, an assembly candidate forum, an annual membership meeting, and a biennial casino night/membership appreciation banquet enable members to further develop business contacts.
ADVOCACY
The Chamber maintains a consistent presence in local government and acts as a liaison between your business and the Haines Borough. The Chamber holds seats on the Alaska Chamber of Commerce, Haines Economic Development Corporation, Chilkat Valley Mining Forum, and regularly attends Haines Borough assembly meetings. We are well connected and a major benefit of your membership includes letters of support for advocacy requests.
