 Duties include the following: settling, invoicing, scheduling, filing, cleaning, tour promotion, sales outreach, reservations, and correspondence.  Able to drive tour vans and must pass DOT and insurance requirements.  Responsible for following all company policies and procedures and report to the Tour Manager.

 Position is based in Skagway, AK from May 2012 - August 2012

Wage Rate: DOE.  Salaried position with a 30-day training and evaluation period.  Bonus eligibility is based on evaluations and successful completion of your contract.

Position Title Charge Entry Technician

Responsibilities
  • The charge entry position enters charges into patient visits utilizing the patient accounting software.  These visits are then processed for billing as determined by the payer code for each visit.  The revenues generated in Stockell are collated into summary reports which are then used by Finance to record revenue into Lawson financial statements.  The charge entry process also prepares a client's bill for payment by either the client or a third-party payer.  Accurate charge entry expedites the billing and reimbursement process.
Experience & Skills
  • Must have a high school diploma or possess a GED
  • A minimum for one year of experience working with accounts receivable is desirable to satisfactorily perform the functions of this job.
  • Medical Coding experience is preferred
Wage Rate $14.21 - $15.86/hr

Position Title Health Info Coder II
Filing Deadline Open Until Filled.
Responsibilities
  • Reviews the contents of the Inpatient and Outpatient medical record to identify the diagnosis and procedure to be coded.  Reviews records to determine if record is complete e.g. not missing any records.  Assigns ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 codes to each record for reimbursement and statistical purposes.  Performs duties in support of the organizational mission to ensure the highest quallity of patient care. 
Requirements
  • High School diploma or its equivalent
  • 1 year coding experience in Health Information Management
  • College course work to include the following:  Medical terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Information systems

Or:

  • Preference to applicant holding a degree in Health Information Management or Medical Assistant Program.

Or:

  • BS or AA degree in Health Information Management and eligible to sit for credential exam

Or:

  • Certification in Coding

Position Title Building Attendant

Responsibilities

This position is under the general supervision of the Facility Manager, Bulding Attendant Supervisor, and Environmental Services Program Manager and is responsible for environmental services, general maintenance and repair of building and mechancial systems, and related activities to maintain facilities in a clean, attractive, and in a safe manner.

Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.  Used for reading and comprehending technical procedures and instructions.
  • One or more years work experience as a custodian, building attendant, or related field.  Three or more years work experience in general repair, and building and mechanical systems maintenance with includes painting, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
  • Specialized certification or license required to qualify for this position: Within one year, or as scheduled, the Building Attendant II must certify in the four OS1 Team Cleaning modules and must be verified in the OS1 Hazard Communication module and the OS1 Floor Guideline and must pass the University of Alaska Shipping Infectious and Biological Substances course or be trained by a SEARHC infection control specialist.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and remain insurable under the SEARHC automobile insurance policy.  This requirement may be waived in locations where position duties and responsibilities can be completed without driving.
Wage Rate $15/24 - $17.04/hr

Position Title Mine Controller
Filing Deadline Open Until Filled.
Responsibilities This position will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, including the monthly accounting close process, preparation of financial statements, fixed assets, general ledger, cost reporting, metals accounting, accounts payable, payroll, taxes, budget preparation, contract review, information systems, materials management and maintaining internal controls, policies and procedures.
Qualifications Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and a minimum of eight years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of two years supervisory experience. CPA, MBA or CMA certifications are desired. Must have excellent working knowledge of accounting principles, practices, procedures and systems, and the ability to communicate with all levels of management in order to interpret results, and report financial impact of business decisions. Mining industry experience and Oracle Software experience would be a plus.

Position Title Lifeguards
